Test Results

We ask patients to telephone for test results between 14:00 and 15:00 when the telephone is less busy and the reception staff will have more time to help.

Results can only be given directly to the patient unless it is for a child under 16; please be guided by reception.

Patients can now have on-line access to certain aspects of their medical records, including test results, as well as being able to book appointments and order repeat prescriptions.  To do this, a patient will need to attend the surgery with two items of identification, eg passport, driving licence or birth certificate, PLUS a household bill to confirm the address at which you are registered with the surgery.  The receptionist can then give you a user ID and password, which you canl change to one of your own choice.

Booking of appointments and ordering of repeat prescriptions will work as in the past for those of you who have had on-line access.  Test results will not be available to a patient until they have been checked by a doctor and therefore it may be several days after the test date before they can be seen.
