Latest News on Sunningdale Health Hub (Lynwood)

Dear Patient, 

We are now close to submitting a revised planning application for the Health Hub and we need our supporters’ backing more than ever. Can you help us by joining our Supporters List? 

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – our efforts to deliver the Sunningdale Health Hub in Ascot would not be possible without the generosity and commitment of our supporters. 

As you might know, Magnolia House Surgery has been working in partnership Kings Corner Surgery and Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group to develop plans for the Sunningdale Health Hub on land off Rise Road, adjacent to Lynwood Village. 

The delivery of the Sunningdale Health Hub is critical to meeting the changing needs of our patients, both now and into the future. There are so many reasons why these proposals will make a huge difference to patients across our local areas. Not least the fantastic news that, after they were re-located to the hospital due to a lack of space in our current GP premises, we will be able to bring community midwife services back to Ascot. 

The Health Hub will bring together Magnolia House Surgery and Kings Corner Surgery on a single site and within a new, purpose-built building. Patients, carers and staff will all benefit from modern healthcare facilities that meet current standards and provide a significantly enhanced environment. 

Our plans will also bring a number of community services for older people and people with mental health needs and long-term conditions into the local area for the first time, improving joint working between services and reducing travel for local people. 

We need to rally together with our supporters to make sure the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead– who will decide if our plans will go ahead – is aware of the considerable level of support for our plans.
